LMI are unable to assign any staff to look after unaccompanied children aged 12 years or under traveling alone on our vessels. Passengers 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older) at time of travel. It is the responsibility of the child’s parent or guardian to make the necessary arrangements for an adult to accompany the child/children.
Professional judgement must be applied in terms of schoolchildren/groups who travel with us unaccompanied on a regular basis and are well known to the staff.
