National Accessibility Week runs from May 31 to June 6! Every action matters and we can all contribute to advance accessibility and inclusion in Canada.

This year’s theme is “Building a Strong, Accessible Canada.”

It invites all of us, including governments, businesses, organizations, and individuals, to take action to advance a barrier-free country. Significant progress has been made to eliminate and prevent barriers, and by continuing to work together, we can build a truly accessible, inclusive and equitable Canada.

Our country is stronger when everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute to our communities and workplaces. In the spirit of “Nothing without us,” the Government of Canada continues to collaborate with partners from the disability community, Indigenous representatives, intersectional groups, and all levels of government to ensure that persons with disabilities can participate fully in all aspects of life.
